The ordering of my life formula – on the science of being and doing

Hey all! Right before I start my post, I want to share something that makes me happy. Basically, its a duo 50 thing. πŸ™‚ In the sense that, for Duolingo on Korean, after a 156 day streak I think, I’ve finished level 50 of section 4 and hit level/score 55. 10 more units and it’s level/score 60 which!! basically means stepping into the B1 syllabus! Yay!! Now I won’t rush it but it would be nice if I could hit that in 2 more weeks.

Maybe at the 170 day mark? Within half a year heheh. Now I know maybe that is still slower than true language lovers who only have that as their one hobby, but I’m totally fine with just my own pace. After I hit 60 I’ll finally start to practise application. And for Japanese, I also hit 50% of the N1 Discord vocab quiz yesterday! Cool!!! Anyway with that, I’ll say that my hobby is progressing well. On to the article yo!

Now, the ordering of my life formula… I guess maybe this shall be my definitive article on it of sorts. I’ve gained greater insight into it in recent days, see, and so this looks like a good time as any! to at least stamp it primarily in stone.

So first of all would be doing. I’ll just phrase it that way for simplicity’s sake k. So basically, what this means is that you have a number of tasks for which you set yourself a target to tick off the list by the end of the day. Honestly these tasks are kind of like projects of yours. Perhaps they are things at work that you have been put in charge of. Maybe they are more like things that you’ve set yourself to do in an overarching grand project… aka monumental undertaking if you wanna phrase it big. πŸ™‚

So basically, I believe that of course, you probably want to start the day off with things in the other category of being because that’s more empowering see. However, when you do start your actual list of tasks for the day, here is a recommendation.

Start off with a task that is your responsibility, that you have committed to, even though you don’t really super enjoy doing it all that much. Get some of it done until you feel your nervous system starting to cry out in dissent. It wants some rest! A break! Now that’s when you simply zone out doing nothing for a bit. Allow your nervous system some time to get back to a healthy robust neutral.

Now having done some good work on your doing or task list of things you aim to accomplish by the end of the day, to use a fancier term, how about a bit of a breather? πŸ™‚ Now, you can take a quick break from your earlier task and spend some time doing another! task on your doing list… this one is vastly different in nature though!

So the main thing about this task that you’re switching to is that well, you actually enjoy doing it! It actually brings you great pleasure to even be doing it. And the thing about these tasks is that they’re kind of an investment!! of time, and you have to spend some time on it or it won’t get done.

So, now that you’re junchou aka on the right track, with it progressing well on your day’s tasks, well! Now that you’ve gotten what you don’t actually prefer out of the way to a certain extent, though maybe you’ll have to return to it later to complete said task, hey! Let’s go to a task you enjoy for a bit, why don’t you! Something that you’re actually happy because you did!

So basically, I would recommend that you schedule your day in a way such that your not preferred tasks are well interspersed with your preferred tasks. That way, zooming out, see. Over the course of the day, you’re clinically getting those not preferred tasks done in neutrals. At the same time though! You’re also getting those preferred tasks done in highs!!! Additionally you’ve spread your highs out along the day for a max! enjoyment!

Now, in between the doing of those tasks on the doing list, as I mentioned!! earlier actually, it’s good if you can let your nervous system warm down, do nothing and return naturally to base condition for a bit. Now, this is where I would head to the next section of this article, being!

So you’ve completed all your tasks for the day, that you wanna tick off yo list. Whaddya do in your free time?!!! Well, obviously you fill yo own cup!

Now, disclaimer. I understand that some people are very ambitious or competent or whatever. So immediately after they finish a task, they go hand the task in. So maybe they can go work on another task and, woah get even more things done! So if this works for them, or if that’s where they are right now for a season of their lives only, please, feel free ok!

Still, I’m actually pointing to a modus operandi where instead of a posture!!! that is capable as heck and such, all we want is to make sure that we fulfil our responsibilities, what we’ve committed to in a satisfactory manner. Beyond that, we do not need to try too hard. Why even?

So okay, I would say that you need only make sure that your progress on those tasks is on track. Other than that, you can perfectly well spend all that excess time filling up your own cup! Though of course, I would… advise that you keep in mind what can be done where and what cannot.

I mean, you can’t exactly be reading a hardcopy book or watching a drama on your laptop in your open office, right!! πŸ™‚ I mean even if it’s not wrong to do so from a moral standpoint considering that you’ve fulfilled your responsibilities… well from a social standpoint it’s just wrong. Aw… so be more discreet. Leave some things for some places. Like don’t start singing karaoke in the office! Even if you’re an ace singer it’s a kinda disruption yo!

Lol. So yeah. Anyways. Now, I want to offer a perspective. A perspective on ordering and such. So maybe imagine feminine energy as state of being and really enjoying yourself. Then imagine masculine as structure, more of a beneficent structure that empowers! Well that’s simply how it is! So like… feminine energy is a giving energy. It gives. But what is giving without you giving to the right places? So in that sense, order and structure guide you.

For instance, without order and structure, you’ll be totally dependent on motivation and motivation alone. What do I want to do right now? And if you happen not to be feeling like doing something, you just don’t do it. But that’s super unreliable you know. I mean, desire is a guidepost on what to do next, sure. For some people that alone is enough. But sometimes… honestly, we need that order so that our energy is channeled right.

Like you know, a gardener? A gardener can’t just randomly walk around and oh! I want to water this plant! I love this plant! But then forgets about this other plant this random week perchance. And the other plant wilts. Sad! No, instead what they should do is kinda have more of a series of actions. Checking things off a list as mentioned earlier, which is preferable for doing or at the very least, as is preferable for being, picking from a list!

For example, sometimes your options are more limited and maybe they’re limited to, for example, checking your personal emails, checking your text messages, checking that you’re up to date on social media from your FYP or looking at the website of the class you wanna sign up for soon or even looking up the menu of the place you’re gonna eat at during lunch break.

Or just taking a quick break to make sure you have all your lines memorised or scrolling through a few posts in other languages…

Whatever the case, the main thing is this. This being time is time wholeheartedly that you’ve taken for yourself to fill your own cup. It can also totally be something you do as downtime to feel good before moving on to another task on the doing list. Aka self-care. So basically. It’s extremely helpful to already know, having secured from experience, options on a list so to speak that you can choose from to empower you!!

Again, being. The exaltation of the state of being, as in enjoyment, really.

Now, I want to point to the fact that while that doing side of things will probably be concentrated far more in the workplace, the being side of thing can definitely show up significantly at home or on weekends too. Note: technically me writing this, though I enjoy it and in that sense it definitely exalts my state of being I suppose, is also doing for sure. I mean… it’s a task that I definitely want to see ticked off my list so!

Yeah. Sometimes it overlaps. And sometimes your ambitions or ‘overarching grand projects’ can be your personal projects too.

Like for example! I like to compose once per week and have consecutively!! being doing it for many weeks now. So yea. Technically today is my composing day too yo. I did some last Sunday too after an article! Well not immediately after but you get what I mean!!!

But you see, what I want to emphasise is that these things are not a definitely must-do. Because at the end of the day, you must remember the why, the primary motivation, the εˆεΏƒ. Know that these things are there truly to empower you. By channeling your energy in a flow beneficent thus!! will you prosper. But it all falls back to your heart at the end of the day.

Like for instance, if you’re burnt out, or if your heart is just not able to enter the right state today due to energy issues… pray, desist. Do not insist!!! No, cease. For if you don’t do it in the right state of being, honestly!! I’d say that maybe you shouldn’t do it in the first place!! Instead… Rest, and when you’re back in good shape, do it again. It all goes back to the foundational concept of metaphysics.

What you do is give. But if hey! You’re overheated or whatnot and you actually would crash out by giving instead, or just cannot give properly? Please. Don’t give that energy. Save it for yourself. Make sure to fill your own cup first and only give at a later date. What you produce will be so!! much more true and whole and good then.

Again, have that list of things which are giving to yourself. It’s actually a cool thing if you can even set a task or two that does that. Like you see, technically it looks like doing because it’s a task you tick off routinely; however, in truth, it’s not for a personal project, monumental undertaking. It won’t exactly accumulate; build to great heights… It’s more for self-care!

For example, every morning my first two tasks are kinda like Daily Wordle and simple yoga. And granted, there may be streaks and such, but they’re not exactly things that I actively progress in and get better over time. I simply enjoy them for their own sake. That’s being. It’s especially true for consuming fiction, which is more clearly unproductive! And my one movie a week thing. Btw, I watched Wicked last week. Was nice. Might do 2 today.

So yeah. Doing is ambition, commitment, responsibility. Being is simply an exaltation of the self through activities that fill your cup, and this can totally happen through activities that seem routine as they happen on a regular enough basis. However, the main difference if that you wanna do then and lock them into a routine because they make you feel good. Like one way I put it before is precisely that it demonstrates you being in your power – your creator consciousness and life you created 4ya shines bright.

And also, I want to add a crucial element too. Even in some projects that you want to see to completion. Don’t force them. Never force them. Like basically, I wait till the inspiration sprouts within me before I write and article or a post. 灡不ζ₯οΌŒζˆ‘δΈεŠ¨γ€‚I won’t compromise if it’s not thoroughly from my heart.

For you see, you have to let seeds sprout in their own time to become buds sigh. I learnt this the hard way recently; for in the latest song I released the music was barely audible above the singing and it just kinda wasted all the effort I’d put into composing. Aw. I’d kinda forced it to completion a little in truth! But now I’ve more deeply ingrained that lesson in myself. It should be no different from my writing of higher perspectives!

I will water the seeds and let them blossom in their own time. I will not like the Chinese say, ζ‹”θ‹—εŠ©ι•Ώγ€‚Pluck the shoots out of the ground in this pitiful attempt to help them to grow that ends up wholly backfiring. πŸ™

In any case, yeah. This is basically my formula for ordering my life that I’ve refined in recent days. Basically, you can say the feminine is giving and the masculine is ordering. Ideally, you order your giving in such a way that you’ll truly prosper most out of it all. And btw, I also gleaned yesterday that philosophy and wisdom is very masculine in nature… The feminine aspect would be just purely giving and giving, overgiving unconditionally even. Out of love. Love thy neighbour? Purity of heart?

Well, technically that’s more of the light feminine I guess. There’s also this dark feminine, where even with your heart true open towards life and positive and passionate even, you still know when to hold back and not to give. You’re in possession of, own your power, unapologetically shine.

At least, that’s my firsthand write in a min impression of it at the moment.

Anyway, the masculine directs you, sees you building, getting things done!

I mean, they say that everyone has both aspects within them so. πŸ™‚ Balance!

And with that I end my article. It’s been a nice one; I really enjoyed writing it!

Meh no put Mehpic at start of meh article. Meh be lazy. Meh. Meh is free!!!

Like how Smeagol is free my last line lol. Anyways! Bye. Have a good one!!!

And if you benefit from this article, I’ll be happy! Sending good vibes out!!!
