I shall release myself from the past and be born anew

For some reason, it seems that us human beings aren’t born onto this earth just to have smooth lives where everything just flows naturally.

Rather, every one of us seems to have some so-called tribulations that we must undergo, some lessons that we must hopefully grow from.

Many a times, these tribulations result in the unsavoury thing known as trauma.

So the most significant thing about this trauma is that it remains nested within our subconscious mind. There they lay, ready to be roused as a moment’s notice as we are triggered by this emotional wound which festers within us.

Some people know these as energetic blockages, and some even might go on and on about how these are linked to energy centres or chakras, but I’m not going to go into that.

Instead, I just want to give alleviating these traumas lingering in our subconscious a shot. To allow us to be refreshed, born anew, heading into the future without the ability to be triggered. For otherwise, these energetic blockages will always lay dormant, poised to lunge like a raging tiger at a moment’s notice.

Some people who are more on the rational side will just be like: oh, so we have these trauma things huh? Why, we don’t have to care about them or pay them any heed! They’re not rational; people are not technically really affected by these things that trigger them!

Like, just ignore them because they’re just irrational and can’t actually cause that agonising experience to us again! That’s just a thing of the past!

Take someone who almost drowned before. Now, they’re afraid to even set foot in the water even though they’re a pretty dang good swimmer.

Obviously, it’s irrational! Man, why can’t they just go swim, dang it!

But the thing is that these unfortunate incidences do stay in our bodies, directing our experiences! And they will affect us in the sense that they force us to relive those sad painful memories!!!

So whether we like it or not, if we really wanna be healed and whole, we gotta take a look at and properly resolve the traumas for good.

Of course, trauams have differing degrees! Small ones can readily be ignored, true!

But to look at how to remedy all of them, let’s first take a look at those more serious ones.

The worst one are, of course, abuse cases, be it child abuse or whatnot.

How do we deal with these energetic blockages?

First of all, the most important thing we have to note is that traumatic incidents can cause our subconscious mind to hold false beliefs about ourselves, such as a lack of self-worth.

We must know that the false beliefs that are imprinted onto us by said incidents are not true in reality!

So what if I was abused as a child? That doesn’t say anything about me! It’s not my fault that it happened to me! It’s just something that life threw on me! I’m still a perfectly good person and I’m worthy!

They say that if we want to solve problems, we must first get to their root. We can’t just treat their symptoms, or they’ll just keep coming back. So if we wanna get rid of the traumas, we must know well, perfectly well, that they do not say anything about us as a person. Otherwise, they might just keep coming back.

We are whole and well and precious and all that! Declare that to the world and forbid any similar experiences from potentially having an impact on ya!

So as I see it, that’s the hard and fast rule for dealing with traumas. Be aware that they are irrational. Maybe the survival mind imprinted said trauma into your mind to prevent you from ever having to go through such an experience again, but to be honest, you simply won’t! That’s because the way you are is not such that you will attract this trauma. You aren’t deserving of it, compatible to it! It only just happened to befall you, and there’s literally no reason for it to again!

And with that in mind, we can properly go to resolving the trauma proper.

The way to do this is really through acceptance and understanding. Accept that said trauma exists within you. Understand why it is present. Sympathise with it. In other words, love it and feel it out. Give solace to it.

And before long, the energy blockage will slowly dissipate. The energy will start to flow again. Give it all the time and love and attention it needs. Face it head-on, bravely, proper. And like this, uproot it.

Obviously, rationality and the correcting of false beliefs is also a great way of dealing with traumas. Heck, it allows you to uproot ’em proper! Gets rid of the trauma for good! You won’t ever be triggered again!

But still, the most direct way to deal with energetic blockages is simply to feel them out. Because the thing about human beings is that energy shouldn’t be suppressed. It should be allowed to just flow freely and authentically, So if there’s a bundle of tangled up emotions within ya, rather than try to fumble around and seek around the knot, simply just feel out the emotions first! The knots will loosen, untangle, and then ya can just uproot it in one feel swoop!

Of course, some people have false beliefs about themselves which results in deprecating self-talk and all that. Sometimes, these really actually comes without any strong energetic blockages! So you can honestly speaking not really use this method of feeling it out. Because it isn’t actually something that you know is plain false but just can’t help getting triggered by!! This falls into another category of self-work.

To deal with these beliefs, first of all know that they are unhealthy. They are not good to have. They are false and things that you wanna get rid of for good.

Then, cease to give these thoughts any further validation when they do appear in your mind. Cognisantly recognise them as something that you do not endorse. Before long, the human mind is such that it will cease letting these thoughts appear once the related false beliefs run out of energy. And thus you will be healed, said energetic blockage removed.

Back to true thoughts and true self-worth! Oh yeah!!!

Phew.

Alright, how was that for an article! For the past two articles I was kind of inspired to write them beforehand, but for this one I had to rack my brains for something to write about! And this one just happened to strike a chord with me and so I went for it! Hopefully it does hold some merit!

Well, till next week then!!! 🙂
