4 cool ways to transmute your esp. negative experiences

Alright! Today I’m going to be talking about something which is slightly more on the obscure side, so I don’t know if y’all have heard of it before…

But anyway! I’m gonna briefly summarise it now.

So, in simple spiritualspeak, high vibration, or vibes, is linked with positivity and good, whereas low vibration is linked with negativity and bad.

Something many people do when they are faced with these bad experiences is to simply wallow in their own misery and do plain nothing. This causes them to remain stuck and stagnant in said low vibes.

Now, there’s actually one fantastic way of returning oneself to those high vibes, which is to ‘transmute’ said experiences, in a sense, into works of art and creativity!

Just think how Taylor Swift transmuted all her breakups into songs. Where would we be without those songs?!!

Hah! Now you probably got a better idea of what it means to transmute those esp. negative experiences! Rather than letting yourself stay down, let them turn into things that can inspire and uplift people through their various modes of expression!

Honestly speaking, I myself have done the same before!

Anyway.

Next I’d like to go into the four cornerstones we can transmute our past experiences through. No, not mediums, but more like what they are founded upon Interestingly enough, they correspond to the four elements!

So let’s go!

!!!

Fire – direct

So the first way to transmute corresponds to the element of fire. How is this so?

Well, something that we can probably all agree on regarding fire is that it is really alive. There it stands, unflinching, in-your-face, dancing. Whatever ya throw at it, it is still unflinchingly directly! itself.

So the way you transmute things via fire is that you simply allow others to kinda accompany you in your journey as you live through these very experiences. Like they’re all direct bystanders in your play, so to speak.

For instance, let’s say you recently experienced something kinda traumatic in your life… Now, having emerged from it still relatively intact, you go write this out as a fiction novel where technically it is in nature non-fiction but it’s in fiction form.

Ah, nostalgia…

It’s even more so fire if the story comes in first person perspective, where rather than a narrator saying character names the pronoun ‘I’ is habitually used when telling the story. Because that way, it’s even more so an actual direct recounting of the experience.

Let’s go on to music and songs. Some singers habitually tend to gravitate towards a first-person, subjective experience in their songs’ expression. Well, some examples would be…

In ‘You’re so beautiful’ by One Direction, some of the lyrics read:

Baby, you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed

Can you see how it’s as though the singer is speaking directly to the target of the song in the first person?

Another quick example…

Alright, ‘The lazy song’ by Bruno Mars goes:

Today, I don’t feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed

Here, it’s as though he’s lackadaisically ranting directly to the universe and anybody who would listen from his own standpoint!!

I won’t give any further examples, but anyway, this fire style of transmuting is kinda direct in expressing one’s thoughts straight out from one’s own perspective, isn’t it? It’s like you’re actually speaking to somebody!!!

Anyway, on to the next one…

Air – detached

Air is when you step outside of and reflect on your expectations before consolidating what you’ve learnt from it!

For instance, I’ve heard that many people do so through journalling as they require the medium of text to allow their honest thoughts and feelings to be expressed. Meanwhile they can even gain these transformative insights in the process that they can integrate into their lives!

With that, it’s obviously no longer like you’re speaking to someone. In fact, one way to think of it is that you’re, in a way, ‘declaring your truth’. Now in general, everyone has different ways of living in general and so different truths that they live by, so… anyway, rather than sounding like you’re speaking to someone, it sounds more as if you’re just declaring a dao or way or truth out loud.

In song, for instance…

Let’s use ‘The climb’ by Miley Cyrus:

There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose

Can you see how the spirit of reflection is strongly engraved therein?

Or maybe ‘Gotta go my own way’ from High School Musical. It goes:

I’ve got to move on and be who I am
I just don’t belong here
I hope you understand

While the singer is in fact directly expressing her words to somebody else in a sense, it’s not a direct, in-your-face kind of talk, but rather reflective, pensive!! as it employs concepts and insights therein.

Hmm, now that I think about it… for fire, the simplest method to employ it in life is by using direct communication to tell others how you feel and settling matters once and for all rather than let it stick like a dastardly thorn in your side.

For air, the simplest method to employ it in life is by looking back on all the experiences you have been through and reflecting on it and forming some sort of conclusion from it. In other words, you need not even try transmuting it into art! Tis more like a strategy of living already, tbh!

Anyway, moving on…

Earth – experience

Now, the element earth relates directly to experience. See, the thing about life is that you go through experiences, gain experience and grow.

And here’s a very important thing.

An very meaningful thing that people can do in life is to help guide the way for others who are new to the path! Through their past experiences, they help induct people into the Way of whatever it is they’re doing, and avoid many of the past missteps that they themselves made.

Such is the value of the teacher to the student!

A very, very classic way of transmuting the bundle of past experiences, including some negative ones, is to make sure that others are able to go through life without also falling into the same traps!! Tis the turning of negativity into positivity, truly!

Well, there are many ways through which one can do so. Some common examples are like being a coach and nurturing newcomers in life, or even writing a book! to educate others on what they’ve gleaned!

Experience is the biggest teacher, indeed.

Let’s quickly talk about music for a sec.

In music, experience leads to a bit of a heaviness weighing down the voice of the singer.

A very common example of such a song would be this, the Titanic one:

Here’s some ‘My heart will go on’ by Celine Dion:

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more, you open the door

Now, if you only listen to the song, you’ll find that you can really really hear how the singer seems to have gone through a lot. The weight of an expressivity like this simply demonstrates it perfectly!

So anyway, for Earth, you don’t just have to guide others! Your past experiences can serve as a guide for you yourself too ya know!

Let’s just hope that said experience doesn’t serve as too much of a burden and prevent you from being able to enjoy the time that, for better, or for worse, remains with you and ya gotta go through huh!

And finally, we come to…

Water – heartfelt

Basically, water is about fully feeling it out.

Yeah, we know. Some people have very, very deep feelings while some people have only, comparatively speaking, quite surface-level feelings. Still!

One most important thing that we must do in life is to feel out our feelings. Because otherwise, they will only remain as energetic blockages within us.

Well obviously we can vent through any available means! Like, sometimes you just gotta let your extra energy out somehow!

But still, I gotta say that a great way to express this, naturally, would be through any artistic medium!

Art, dance, poetry, singing, writing (you can fully live!! through the characters being embodied you know! Just like how some old people attach their hopes onto their children to see them succeed in what they themselves couldn’t!)…

For singers, I won’t point to any specific song this time. Instead, I’ll just point to a singer who seems to capture that type of song feeling wholly perfectly… Quick shoutout. That singer is none other than Singapore’s very own JJ Lin.

The medium of said mode of expression has the artist perfectly being entwined around and thoroughly submersing the entirety of their very being in their art. It’s all-encompassing and thoroughly captures all of the emotion therein as it wraps fully around, engulfs… Enough said.

As human beings, we really gotta feel what we gotta feel. We can’t just just repress everything because that just ain’t how it works. For we ain’t free that way!

Anyway, this mode of transmutation is sublime in how that mesmerising depth can truly capture people’s hearts!

And similarly, of course, people can also try to reproduce or cover the very same performances if they so wanna! It’s free country people!

This be a world of culture and art yo!

Conclusion

Alright. Now, if you don’t take anything else away from this article, how about ya just take away one action point from each of the four elements?

In order to transmute any possible low vibes from our experiences, and transform them into truly high vibes:

Fire – Directly express your honest thoughts and feelings to others and don’t let them remain as thorns in the side

Air – Reflect on your everyday experiences and see if there’s any little insight that you can glean out of them, that you wanna integrate into your lives

Earth – Learn from your mistakes and never make them again, plus properly guide others who you can tell might make the same error

Water – Fully feel into and accept your emotions and then vent or otherwise express them

And like you’ve probably understood by now! You can very well transmute your experiences into art even if it’s just for you alone!

Most importantly, there is one final thing that I would like to say.

What is the hallmark of a developed society? Well, I would say that it is none other than culture. See, the fundamental step in building a society is to first secure basic standards of living for everyone. And what can people do after that? Why, we thrive! And that IS through culture like sports, art, innovation and the like! It b d true epitome of existence yo! Like hey just think about it man! What do museums show?! Oh, yeah!

Now this article is kind of a bit different from the previous ones because I hadn’t theorybuilt for a long, long time, but I rather enjoyed it really! I am still slightly unsure tbh, but oh well! Hah! Thanks for reading guys!

Ok thx bye!
